Congratulations to the top 20 AR readers!
Congratulations to Kaylee Rulevish for placing 3rd in shot put in the Class S state track meet today in Salem. Also, congratulations to Dalis Hubler for qualifying for state in the discus. Kaylee and Dalis were wonderful representatives for our school. It was a cold and rainy day, but the girls didn’t let the weather dampen their spirits. Both girls did great! Thank you to the TSB fans who came to cheer the girls on.
If you see Kaylee and Dalis today, wish them good luck as they head to the state track meet in Salem tomorrow, May 14th. Kaylee qualified in the shot put and Dalis in the discus. Drew, John, and I are so proud of them!
Anyone who wants to come cheer them on, the meet starts at 10:00. Directions to the track are: Take I57 to the Salem exit. Get off at the Salem exit. Take US 50 East to the square (courthouse on your left). Turn left onto Hwy 37 and go north about 1 mi. The high school is on your right and the track is behind (east of) the high school.

Photography by Shawna has posted a video compilation that includes photos from each sport that was captured. There are a few pee wee pix, jv and varsity basketball, volleyball and track. It’s my ode to all the St. Bruno and Tamaroa athletes. =)
You can also view the Baseball video here.
The Regional track meet originally scheduled for Tuesday, May 3, has been moved to Wednesday, May 4. The meet will still be held at the West Frankfort High School track.
Today (5/2), track practice will be after school at the St. Bruno gym. Practice tomorrow (5/3) will be after school at the PCHS track. Pictures have also been moved to tomorrow (5/3).
At practice tomorrow, we will let the athletes know if they are participating in the meet. However, everyone has done a great job all season and we have really enjoyed working with all the athletes. We will have an additional practice next week for any athletes not going to state to turn in their uniforms.
