Marla was raised in Sesser. She graduated from Sesser-Valier High School and Rend Lake College. She is a UMWA retiree with 21 years of work from Consolidated Coal. Marla has over 10 years of experience being a teacher’s aide. She and her husband, Richard, moved to Pinckneyville in 1992. Together they have four children Tina, Jill, Adam,and Emily. They also have seven grandchildren and one chocolate lab named, Cooper. She is looking forward to another great year working at St. Bruno’s Pre-K with Mrs. Elaine.
