Hello, my name is Dennis Unverferth, and I am the middle school Math and Literature teacher at St. Bruno. I was born and continue to live in Red Bud. Virtually all of my education and teacher experience has taken place in Catholic schools. I received my BA and MA degrees from Saint Louis University. My wife’s name is Linda; I have three children Abby, Erin and Andrew. My wife is a nurse; Abby and Erin are both teachers. Andrew is attending Missouri State University and hopes to be working in journalism upon graduation. Teaching at St. Bruno has been a great experience. Class sizes allow student/teacher relationships to flourish and for students to get the one on one interaction they might need for success. In my free time I like to hike, camp, hammock, read, and participate in living history events at places like Ft. de Chartres. My family, which includes two labrador retrievers, Jessie and Kadi, loves to vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains, where I pursue my passion for photography.
